We're finally back to our blog after NOT being able to connect to the internet in Yellowstone.  We have lots of pictures to share, and to keep OUR days straight we'll enter them as 4 different blog sessions.  So here goes with our Thursday, July 26th...truckin' and travelin' day!

We departed Great Falls, Montana via the road that took us past the Great Falls of the Missouri River first, and then headed south for West Yellowstone.  We traveled along the Missouri River most of the way to the valley of the Madison River.  We followed the Madison through the earthquake zone on the Madison where the quake in the late 1950's caused the mountain to slide down blocking the river and forming Earthquake Lake.  It was amazing to see the devasating affects of that earthquake on the area.  That night we made it to the West Yellowstone KOA.  We met up with Jim's sisters in West Yellowstone and went to dinner.  The next day we headed out together to Yellowstone NP.
