We have been camping in the backyard of friends, Barbie & Garry McGlassons, (Barbie is Bonnie Anderson's twin sister) in Meadville, AZ since Monday evening, July 2nd. Barbie & Garry welcomed us to their home with open arms...and we've gladly accepted their wonderful hospitality. In fact we'd highly recommend "Barbie's Bed & Breakfast" to one and all. Barbie's declicous roast beef dinner, the breakfast buffet each morning (with homemade cinnamon rolls with Splenda for Jim), beef encheladas, and the amazing homemade desserts would be enough, but Barbie even did our laundry, fluffed and folded it too! And Garry has given us great tours of Lake Mead, the south boat ramp, and the Grapevine Mesa Joshua Trees National Natural Landmark. (He's also sharing his computer with us to get our latest blog sent out!) It has been a quick, but fun-filled, 3 days with Barbie & Garry. Who knew that you could have so much fun in the Arizona Desert?

We are headed to California in the morning....at our own pace...and will hate to leave such wonderful hosts. We
were going to list Barbie's phone number, but decided to be selfish and keep it to ourselves!
THANKS BARBIE & GARRY!
