Barbie & Jim with Magellan I

Garry, Barbie & John with Magellan I

This morning we said our goodbyes to our wonderful hosts, Barbie & Garry...and then all hell broke loose, literally. Our plans were to head for Kingman, AZ with Garry & Barbie following us there; however, just after leaving the McGlassons drive, Magellan II and her dolly decided to jump ship and leave Magellan I heading out on her own. YES, the dolly and the Equinox actually stuck together, while Barbie, Jim & John in Magellan I, headed down the desert roadway. Suddenly, we heard Barbie's phone ring, as Jim exclaimed, "Magellan II is NOT behind us"....while Garry let us know that Magellan II and dolly were back at the corner of Yates and Escanlante Streets!! We turned around Magellan I and found Garry with the escapees. Luckily, Magellan II had no injuries, while the tow dolly had broken her safety chains and the electrical hookup. Needless to say this delayed our departure. Thanks to the wonderful help of good neighbor, Frank E., we were ready to set sail, once again, within 3 hours. We are pleased to report no further escapes were attempted or accomplished, and we are at the FamCamp on Edwards Air Force Base., CA A special thanks again, to our great hosts from Meadview, Barbie and Garry McGlassons! We will long remember our great visit and adventure
