Please bear with us tonight...as we try something different with our blog,  Not being too technologically swift, it's been great to add pictures to our blog....but difficult to KEEP the pictures that we want to post, and still type in captions.  So here goes:

We were awakened this beautiful Sunday morning to the smell of sausage, eggs, toast, coffee and fresh orange....Well, not really...we had to wake up first and then prepare this Sunday morning feast for ourselves!  Everything turned out well....for our first RV cooked meal from scratch!

Next we organized more of our STUFF....before heading out on the road to not ONE National Park....but TWO.  We went to the Needles area of the Canyonlands NP....after a 75 mile drive from Moab, south.  It was a long drive, but worth it! It's amazing how many wonderful sites you can enjoy even before arriving in the NP area...Newspaper Rock (with primitive petroglyps) and Wilson's Arch were miles away from Needles.

Wilson Arch and Newspaper Rock....we have NO idea what they are saying...but it was interesting!

If the wooden shoe fits....Wooden Shoe Arch, Canyonlands Natioanl Park.
The brilliant red and white stripes of the Needles.  (Sorry it was very hot & hazy.)
Beautiful rock formations found in Canyonlands Natioanl Park, Utah.
Red walls of the canyon, from Canyonlands NP "Island in the Sky.
View from of the canyon from "Islands in the Sky"
Rock formations jutting out over the red walls of the canyon.
Erosion down mid-way of the canyon.

Farewell to these two districts of the amazing Canyonland National Parks we visited today....Needles & Island in the Sky.  Three sections of a  Natioanl Park in less than two days.  Now it's on to Nevada and a visit to the Great Basin National Park.
