The curse of the cursed wind in Kansas made for a long, treacherous 423 mile journey to our overnight stop in beautiful downtown Siebert, Colorado. Seibert has a campground and a gas station...and that's about it...but at least it's a place to rest wind weary bones tonight. Our leg of today's journey took us to the beautiful National Tall Grass Prairie Preserve. Did you know that only 4% of America's once vast grasslands that stretched from Texas to the Canadian border are still in existence today?
